Violin Popular Hits Camp
July 9th-July 30th
intermediate-advanced level
Tuesdays/Thursdays 5:00-6:00 pm

Keep up your violin playing in the summer with this fun-filled popular hits camp! Meet new friends and have fun playing your favourite music. Must bring your own violin to camp and have at least Suzuki Violin book 3 playing ability.
Suzuki Violin Beginner Camp
July 9th-July 30th
beginner level (Suzuki book 1)
Tuesdays/Thursdays 4:00-5:00 pm
7 Sessions: $140
final concert: Thursday, August 1st at 5:30 pm
Learn how to play the violin this summer! Parents are welcome to learn alongside their child for free at this camp. Master Twinkle Little Star and other folk songs by the end of this camp to perform at the end concert. This class is full of movement and silly games while learning the violin at the same time. This is a great chance to see if your child is interested in learning the violin. Must have your own violin at this camp - violins are available to rent at Long and McQuade (also need a KUN shoulder rest).
Composition and Theory Camp

age 9-18
Tuesdays/Thursdays 6:00-7:00 pm
7 Sessions: $140
final concert: Thursday, August 1st at 5:30 pm
Have you ever wondered about writing your own music. Join Dr. Kristin Flores, Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre, in an exciting camp geared towards composition. This class will include finding sounds to include in your work (diy or real instruments), discovering simple forms of notation, and performance of the piece at the final concert.
Suzuki Early Childhood Camp: Music with Your Baby!

age 0-3 years, with adult present
Tuesdays/Thursdays 10:00-11:00 am
7 Sessions: $140
final concert: Thursday, August 1st at 5:30 pm
Your baby/toddler will be moving, singing, and playing instruments in this camp. This music camp will help your child learn motor skills, vocabulary skills, number skills, pitch skills, listening/sequencing skills, and aid in social-emotional development. Also, lets not forget that this camp is super fun!
Suzuki Early Childhood Camp for Preschoolers

age 4 and 5 years
Tuesdays/Thursdays 11:15-12:15 am
7 Sessions: $140
final concert: Thursday, August 1st at 5:30 pm
Your child will be moving, singing, and playing instruments in this camp. This music camp will help your child learn motor skills, vocabulary skills, number skills, pitch skills, listening/sequencing skills, and aid in social-emotional development. Also, lets not forget that this camp is super fun!
